All CRL PR42 Series Closers are barrier-free (low opening resistance), with a lighter powered spring to provide adjustable door control from Size 2 through 5. Recommended for high traffic areas, such as public buildings, airports and shopping centers to meet A.D.A. accessibility requirements. Closing and latching speed controls are independently adjustable, and have an adjustable back check feature that helps prevent damage to the closer, door, and adjacent surface when the door is violently swung open due to wind or heavy pedestrian traffic.
